As a free service to the residents of Tioga County, your Sheriff's Office has a Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety technician on staff that can provide one-on-one installation instruction as well as group lectures and demonstrations on the use and misuses of child car seat restraints.  If you wish to schedule an appointment, please call and ask to speak with, or leave a message for, Deputy Chris Wilson.  Deputy Chris Wilson will schedule an instructional demonstration with you on how to properly install and utilize your child safety seat.  At the completion of the demonstration we are confident you will have the necessary knowledge to safely install and adjust whatever type of restraint is appropriate for your child.  And, if you don't have a current, certified car seat, one may be made available to you, FREE of charge.  Make sure to inquire about availability with Deputy Chris Wilson. 

Helpful Tips: If you wish to schedule a one-on-one session it is most beneficial to have the vehicle that the seat will be installed in and the current child safety seat, as well as the child for which the seat is to be used.
