Bail/Fine Payment Option Onsite

  • Bail is accepted in the form of cash or credit/debit card.  Personal checks, money orders, split payments WILL NOT be accepted.
  • The cardholder must come to the jail lobby and have valid photo ID to complete this transaction.
  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover cards are accepted.
  • A non-refundable service fee will be added to all transactions.
  • Bail Bondsmen information is available to inmates at the facility.

**You may recover bail money at the court of jurisdiction.

 

Bail/Fine Payment Option On-Line or Telephone

To pay bail or a fine online or over the telephone, you will need the following information:

  • 4-digit Pay Location Code (PLC) #:
    • Bail --------1784
    • Fine -------2247
  • Defendant's first and last name
  • Defendant's home address
  • Name of Court and Judge
  • Cash Bail amount / Fine amount

***IMPORTANT NOTICE***

By using the GovPayNet remote online bail payment service you acknowledge that the funds being paid via your credit card will become the property of the defendant.  Essentially, your transaction is a wire transfer to the Tioga County Jail for the purpose of providing funds to the defendant to make bail.  Any receipt or bail affidavit issued will be made out in the defendants name and will be given to the defendant prior to their release.  Any refund of bail funds by the court will be made to the defendant.
